Justin Phelps is an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago, admitted in 1996, and a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago. He was appointed to the rank of Senior Counsel by the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on 18 June 2024.

He is a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, having been called to the Bar of England and Wales in October 1995. He is further admitted in St Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, and Guyana.

His practice is regulated by the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago under the Legal Profession Act, Chapter 90:03.

Justin Phelps SC carries professional indemnity insurance of a kind and amount appropriate to the practice. Details of the insurer and the territorial coverage of the policy are available on written request to the clerk.
